Georgia Peach Flavored Coffee

A peach flavored drink is one product beverage companies just can’t seem to get right on a consistent basis. Peach tea is one that, when produced correctly, is extremely tasty and enjoyable on a hot summer’s day. Otherwise, you are left with an unfortunately bitter aftertaste that somewhat resembles the pungency of cedarwood oil. Personally, I feel like I’m always on the search for a decent taste of peach, particularly during the off growing season. Although this fuzzy fruit is often taken for granted in the peach state, what if I told you I finally found what we were searching for?

We are all coffee lovers here, right? Peach has always been a flavor more associated with hot or cold tea, but what if there was another option? My friends over at Aroma Ridge are not only masters at roasting coffee beans, they’re also masters of crafting flavored coffee beans. When I first saw Georgia Peach coffee listed on their website, to say I was intrigued would be the understatement of the century. I knew it was something I had to try. Once I received it in the mail, I was completely determined to put my bag of whole bean peach flavored coffee to the ultimate test. With the help of my French press, my sister and I brewed several presses of Aroma Ridge’s Peach Coffee to enjoy three different ways.

Hot Black Coffee
There’s something magical about the precise moment the peach flavor melds with the scent of freshly brewed coffee. To be honest, I’m not a fan of black coffee. But so far, Aroma Ridge has been the only company capable of roasting a coffee I actually enjoy black — sans cream and sugar. Once 3 tablespoons of course ground coffee are done brewing up in the press, simply fill a travel mug and go. It won’t be long before all of your coworkers are asking where that amazing peach smell is coming from (this seriously happened to my husband).

Iced Sweet Black Coffee
I’ll be the first to admit that lately I’ve been looking for ways to eliminate dairy from my diet. I will not give up coffee, though, so let’s just get that out of the way. Something as delicious as Aroma Ridge’s peach flavored coffee will enable you to enjoy something tasty, without completely sabotaging your diet. There are absolutely zero sweeteners or unsavory additives, which means you can enjoy it every single day with very little guilt. I decided to once again forego creamer and dairy when I initially tried this particular flavor iced, choosing to add ice and raw sugar only.

IT WAS AMAZING

Peach iced tea who? Drinking a glass of iced peach flavored coffee, slightly sweetened, was honestly so much better than any brand of peach tea I’d ever tried. Don’t get me wrong, I am known to enjoy a glass of sweet tea now and again — I am a Georgian after all. But Aroma Ridge’s Georgia Peach coffee offers the sweetest peach flavor, much like you might enjoy from the flesh closest to the pit, further highlighting the notes of medium roasted beans.

Hot Coffee with Almond Milk Creamer
How do you like your coffee? Typically, I take mine with enough sweet cream to create a dark caramel coloration. This is highly dependent upon the level of roast, notes, and added flavoring, though. While Aroma Ridge’s peach coffee was perfectly fine dressed up as my normal cup of Joe, it left me wanting. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the coffee, it was actually fantastic. But, once you’ve tried it iced with sugar, there’s no going back.
